While we’re still talking about color, I wanted to share another outfit I wore in The Netherlands. I picked up a vibrant blouse to brighten up my jeans and white pants. This turned out to be the perfect outfit for a casual walk around town.
The blouse is from a lovely new brand I discovered called Essentiel. Even though I couldn’t find this exact piece, Yoox has a great selection of Essentiel items.
Also, take a look at these new shoes from Wolky. If you’re familiar with my site, you might notice they look a bit like my Fly London sandals. Since I’ll be traveling over the next few months, I needed shoes that are incredibly comfortable for walking. While I love my Fly Londons, they are quite high and better for short city strolls. These Wolky shoes are lower and even more comfortable, and they passed their first test walk with flying colors!
Though these shoes might not have the same ‘cool’ factor as the Fly Londons, sometimes comfort has to come first. However, I still think these shoes are stylish with their silver finish and funky soles. I expect to get a lot of wear out of them.
I also did a bit of print mixing with the stripes on my new sunhat. Speaking of color, check out how Greetje added a splash of green with this fabulous bag. Adding a pop of color like this can make your outfit much more interesting.
