I’ve always been a huge fan of contemporary jewelry, and I’m excited to share a recent collaboration with one of the best online stores for this style: Boticca. I chose three items from two different designers to show how you can transform a simple black and white outfit into three unique looks.
First up is the Wire Crochet Gold Cuff by Yoola. I’m impressed by its subtle and well-crafted design. This wide bracelet is crocheted using 14k gold-filled wire. Although I typically wear silver, I wanted to try gold, which looks fantastic with both white and black outfits. This combination results in a modern, classic look that becomes more edgy and contemporary with stylish shoes. You can keep it more classic with regular pumps. The jewelry is elegant and adds a sophisticated touch.
Next is the Clemence Woven Necklace in Pink/Orange by Jennifer Loiselle. This piece is a stark contrast to the subtle bracelet. It’s bold and colorful, perfect for adding a pop to the top part of your outfit. The great thing about this necklace is its versatility—you can wear it in four different ways, varying the amount of color you show. While I prefer the more subtle combination, this necklace is fun and definitely makes a statement. There’s also a smaller version called the mini Clemence if you like the design but want something less bold. This necklace makes the outfit stand out, adding an arty and funky vibe. I think it pairs best with a simpler handbag to let the necklace shine as the focal point.
Lastly, there’s the Eyes Perspex Drop Bib Necklace in Black Glitter, also by Jennifer Loiselle. This piece intrigued me with its quirky and unique design. It’s a playful addition to any outfit. I added some colorful accessories, like a pink handbag or colorful shoes, to complement this necklace, though it also works well with cooler cobalt tones, creating a funky chic look.
I loved all three outfits and how each accessory brought a different feel to the look. These pieces are versatile and will pair well with many other items in my wardrobe. Stay tuned for more combinations next week.
