I absolutely adore Cate Blanchett. She’s one of the smartest, most capable, and stylish women around today. Her performances in the Elisabeth movies and as Bob Dylan in “I’m Not There” were unforgettable. On top of that, her street style and red carpet looks are always impressive, making her a true style icon for women over 40.
So, what makes her a style icon?
Cate consistently looks amazing in everything she wears, and she’s not afraid to take risks with her fashion choices. While it’s easy to stick to a safe, elegant style and never end up on the worst-dressed list, Cate often opts for bold and fashionable looks. Her choices are usually surprising, incredibly stylish, and never dull.
I especially love how she can totally rock the men’s wear trend, but she’s equally stunning when it comes to high glamour. And there are only a few women who could pull off some of the looks she does.
