Today, I’m excited to share some laid-back summer outfits featuring shorts and short dresses. Summer is all about fun, comfort, and staying cool. Since I’m heading on vacation, I’ve put together a few holiday outfit ideas to inspire you. Don’t expect anything too fancy!
You might remember this floral dress from a previous photoshoot. I found it in a sale in Holland last year, and it’s become my go-to casual beach dress. It also pairs nicely with these shorts for a slightly dressier look if you’re planning to take an evening stroll by the beach. These snug, stretchy shorts are very flattering, especially when worn with a long top. I’ll be showcasing more outfits with these shorts soon.
This Dolce & Gabbana white jeans jacket has been a staple in my travel wardrobe to Europe for several years now. I bought it on sale in Holland, and while I rarely wear it in Singapore due to the climate, it’s perfect for the cooler weather in Holland and complements many of my outfits. In fact, the entire outfit (excluding the shoes and bag) is part of my travel wardrobe that I’ll be highlighting tomorrow.
During my vacation, I’ll keep sharing more great articles, outfit inspiration, and photos of any new discoveries and interesting places I come across. I’m also attending a Madonna concert soon; it’ll be fun to take some photos there and see how many women over 40 attend. I’m looking forward to the nostalgic trip through different stages of my life with her music and I’m taking my 12-year-old niece along for the experience.
