This week’s outfit is quite similar to last week’s. It’s based on a simple formula: trousers, a top, and a few accessories to add some flair. I’ve chosen trousers this time instead of a skirt and paired them with a few accessories to keep things interesting. I’m a big fan of adding texture with accessories and I love the black and white trend, so I used my favorite black and white belt again.
This outfit shows how you can look trendy without buying a lot of new clothes. Everything I’m wearing has been in my closet for a while, including these white pants that I’ve had for years. They’ve now become a favorite since my old sailor white pants are a bit worn out. Lately, I’ve been leaning more towards straight-leg trousers rather than the wider bootcuts. As you know, I love wearing white pants, and they are definitely on my spring wish list. The ones I’m wearing today are perfect for flats, but I’m also looking for a pair that I can wear with heels.
To make outfits stand out, I love playing with accessories. That’s why I’ve added a graphical bag to my wish list. It looks great with this outfit, but I’d also like a dressier leather version.
If you follow me on Facebook, you’ll know that I’ve dyed my hair again. I asked for your advice and shared the results, though the pictures didn’t show the colors clearly. This latest picture captures them much better. I wanted more contrast between the colors, more red, and a streakier look to add character to my hairstyle. Judging by the reactions I got on the tennis court this morning, I think I’ve succeeded. Since I’m unsure about the length, I didn’t get it cut this time.
It’s Chinese New Year, which is a major holiday here in Singapore. This week, I’ll be traveling to Malaysia’s Borneo and Brunei, searching for Orangutans and exploring magical places. I’ve scheduled articles for the week, so stay tuned. I hope to have a good internet connection in my hotel to keep in touch with you all and share my adventures on Facebook and Instagram. I’m also planning to take more photos to write a travel report for the blog.
Wishing you all a very happy Chinese New Year!
