Styling White And Grey For A Bright Day In Amsterdam!

Here are some pictures from my second day trip to Amsterdam. The day before, I was exploring with the wonderful Greetje, but it was so cold and rainy that we spent most of the time dashing between shops and hiding under an umbrella. However, I did manage to snag a gorgeous Preen skirt at 70% off, which I’m excited to show you later.

The weather completely turned around the next day. It was beautiful and almost as hot as Singapore, so taking photos became a must! Our first stop was the Rijksmuseum. Even though it can get pretty busy there, my friend Saskia and I walked right in without having to wait in line.

I decided to wear a new outfit from GetDressed2, a brand I’ve mentioned before. The centerpiece was an asymmetrical gray striped skirt that’s super comfy and totally my style. I paired it with a versatile white linen jacket/blouse that has some cool cotton jersey details. This skirt isn’t just pretty in the front; it has a slight drape at the back too, and you can even wear it reversed for a new look.

To add some color to the white and gray, I wore an old Alldressedup necklace and carried a new bag by Mirjam Zwolsman. Normally, I don’t go for pastel colors like this light pastel blue, but I was really drawn to the bag’s color combination and design. It’s a lot easier to incorporate these softer colors as accessories.

I couldn’t help but reminisce about my student days in Amsterdam when I rode a red bike similar to the one in the picture. My current bike isn’t as fancy, unfortunately.

Jacket by Inzio and skirt by Porto, both available at GetDressed2. Shoes are an old pair from Zara, necklace from Alldressedup, and bag by Mirjam Zwolsman.

Would you wear a draped skirt like this? What’s your go-to outfit for the holidays?
