A Spectrum of White, Red, Brown, and Green

Anja was back in town, so we decided to catch up over lunch. I’d been following her adventures in India through her blog, but nothing beats chatting in person. As usual, we also took some time to snap a few photos.

Looking at the pictures later, I realized I really liked my outfit. The combination of white, red, and brown looked great together, and my animal print belt tied all the colors nicely.

Inspired by my own tips on nail care and styling, I painted my toenails green, adding a fun fourth color to my look. My fingernails were also green, but the polish chipped, so I went back to my natural nails.

I wore an A-line skirt, which is always flattering on me, and I liked the graphical element of the outfit. Red has become a new favorite color of mine, and I kept searching for red sunglasses. Though bright red suits me well, I thought it might be too bold for sunglasses, so I picked burgundy red Burberry shades instead.

The top I wore was a recent find from Mango. It was love at first sight, and I managed to snag one of the last pieces in the store. Despite having sleeves, the fabric is thin, keeping me cool in Singapore’s climate.

I also carried a red tote bag from the Netherlands and wore comfy red shoes that matched the outfit perfectly.
