Master the Art of Layering for a Chic Summer Look

I love living in perpetual summer, but sometimes I miss the creativity that comes with layering different clothes. Mixing and matching different styles and textures can really elevate an outfit.

One of the reasons I’m drawn to asymmetrical tops or those with sheer elements is because they add that extra flair even when you’re just wearing a single layer. My draped dress also does this well.

Another cool way to get that layered look while staying cool is to pick tops that are designed to look layered, like the one from Porto. It looks like it’s layered over a white blouse, but it’s actually just one piece. The mix of fabrics enhances this effect, making it comfortable and stylish with its fun asymmetrical details.

To really make the top stand out, I pair it with something that contrasts with the white. My old black silk pants work perfectly for this. Adding fuchsia shoes and a bright necklace that I bought in a small shop in the Netherlands brings a pop of color and a playful touch to the outfit, which is totally my style.

Here’s what I’m wearing:
– Top: Porto
– Pants: Alldressedup
– Shoes: Hoegl
– Necklace: A small shop in Amsterdam
– Bag: A small shop in Berlin

Do you enjoy layering in the summer? How do you like to do it?
