Exploring British Columbia and Alberta: A Photographic Journey from Vancouver to Calgary

After a fantastic blogger meetup in Vancouver, my husband and our 13-year-old son joined me for a road trip through parts of Canada and the USA. Our plan for the Canada portion was to drive to Calgary via Roger’s Pass, making stops whenever we felt like it. The drive itself is quite an adventure with stunning views along the way.

I loved wearing this outfit from Stella Carakasi during our travels. It’s super comfortable and stylish, featuring a great top and leggings. The bag I carried can be used as both a tote and a backpack, which made it really handy.

We didn’t see many bears, but we did spot one by the side of the road. It bravely crossed the highway right in front of us!

On our way to Calgary, we made a detour to Jasper, and it was absolutely worth it. There are several viewpoints and trails with breathtaking views. The water is incredibly clear and makes perfect reflections. The colors were exactly as you see in the photos, no editing needed.

After all that driving, it was great to relax in the hot springs or go for a hike.

Our final stop in Canada was Calgary, where we spent a day exploring the city and watched a match between top youth ice hockey teams.

We had an amazing time in Canada, surrounded by stunning nature. Next stop, the USA! Have you visited British Columbia and Alberta? Which places did you enjoy the most?
