You probably know by now that I love asymmetry and unique details in clothing. That’s why I’m drawn to the Alldressedup label—they always add an interesting focal point to their designs. This particular dress caught my eye not only because of its color but also because of the unusual draping at the front.
It’s perfect for Singapore’s hot weather since it’s loose and made from natural silk. Plus, I think it could look great worn over pants because it’s a bit short.
While I adore these draped styles, I’ve decided I should start looking for simpler shapes in the future. I already have several of these draped dresses, so it’s time to switch things up! I’m still on the hunt for a red dress, but I want something with a unique shape that doesn’t rely on draping.
With the holidays approaching quickly, I have a lot of work to do and packing to plan. I’m not sure if this dress will make it into my suitcase—packing for 5 weeks away, spanning 4 countries with unpredictable climates, is going to be a challenge. I still haven’t figured out what my travel wardrobe will look like this time.
