Absolutely, Mini Skirts are Still My Go-To!

I get to enjoy myself several times a week! There’s nothing quite like wearing an ultra mini skirt while playing tennis in the hot climate of Singapore.

Tennis is my go-to exercise, and you’ll find me on the courts two or three times a week if I’m not dealing with injuries, which can be a frustrating part of getting older.

As I’ve mentioned in previous articles about sports clothes, I think you should look just as great playing sports as you do in other areas of your life. Over the years, I’ve built up quite a collection of sports clothes, creating what I like to call my sports wardrobe capsule. I mix and match a lot of my pieces to create a variety of outfits, rarely sticking to standard sets.

I happily combine tennis gear with golf and yoga clothes. For example, one of my golf tops works perfectly for tennis, and I also mix a yoga top with my regular clothes, like in the outfit where I paired it with a formal suit. All these pieces are from older Stella McCartney collections.

One of my favorite athletic tops, designed by Stella McCartney for Adidas, is actually for bike riding, and I pair it with a fitness skort from Lululemon. This skort looks plain at the front but has a fun, frilly back. Another outfit I love is also from Stella McCartney.

This dress is one of my chicest tennis dresses and I even enjoy wearing it in the evening as it feels like a little black dress (though it’s more of a charcoal color).

A colorful t-shirt from Stella McCartney for Adidas used to be my favorite for various activities like tennis and casual outings. It features a nice square back cut-out that’s not visible in the pictures. I pair it with a thick cotton golf skirt from Nike.

Here’s an ultra-lightweight top and skort from Lululemon (it could use a bit of a smile!).

As you can see, my absolute favorite tennis brand is Stella McCartney for Adidas. I typically shop for these clothes at the Adidas outlet store in Novena Square, Singapore, although I haven’t visited in over a year!

I’m curious to see what’s in her new collection. While I might not wear the middle outfit (it’s lovely but looks a bit too much like lingerie), I am very tempted by the other two.
