Elevate Your Evening Wear for a Culinary Experience with Denton and Teresa in New York

I’ve been working with the photographer Denton for a few years now, so it was really nice to finally meet him and his wife Teresa. He treated me to dinner at the restaurant Asiate in the Mandarin Hotel in New York. The view from our table was just spectacular.

I wore my new Kenzo dress, which I got at a bargain price during a sale. I paired it with my trusty red coat and red Loewe sunglasses. Interestingly, Teresa and I dressed quite similarly again! We had a good laugh about it.

Teresa wore a Prada dress from Michael’s Consignment Shop on Madison Avenue, Chanel shoes, and cateye glasses from See Optical. Her red pocketbook was an early Dooney & Bourke piece, and she always wears her FitBit.

Earlier, we’d had a conversation with Valerie from the Idiosyncratic Fashionistas, who is a Japanese textile expert. Inspired by this, Denton wore a Jhane Barnes shirt. The fabric, made in Japan, was so intricate that it could only be manufactured there. Denton has a collection of Jhane Barnes shirts and ties that he found on eBay. He paired the shirt with Brooks Brothers trousers and a Burberry jacket.

After dinner, Denton showed me Lincoln Center, where Fashion Week used to be held and where he took many of his pictures.

Thanks for a lovely evening, Denton, and a great introduction to New York!
