As you might know, I live in an area where it’s hot all year round, so I won’t get to experience fall this year. But I thought it would be fun to put together a fall outfit for my American and European readers who might be tired of my summer looks. Despite the heat, I took some photos of a few fall outfits using both old and new clothes. Today, I’m sharing one of them, and I’ll reveal more over the next week.
The Perfect Fall Outfit
This outfit feels just right for fall. It includes one of my favorite skirts that I got from Diesel over five years ago. It’s made of thick cotton and has some cool features, like silver push buttons and side cords that let you adjust the fit. You can pull it tight for a chic, leg-baring look or keep it loose, as I did here. This makes the skirt really fun to wear.
The light grey jacket is a lightweight cotton piece I picked up on sale at JNBY. It has unique and interesting tailoring. The white top is from Alldressedup and is made of silk with a ruched neckline. Though it’s a summer top, it transitions easily into fall.
I initially planned to wear my long black boots but ended up loving how these patent leather booties looked with the skirt. I’ll feature boots in future posts!
Why I Chose This Outfit
I chose this outfit because it’s fun and unique. It’s versatile, allowing for easy layering, and it features my favorite color combo: black and white, which is very trendy right now. The skirt has been with me for years, and I always feel great in it. The relatively new jacket adds a fresh element to the outfit. I’m currently loving hats and the dandy look, so adding a hat was a must for my go-to fall outfit. This ensemble makes me feel really happy.
